Yesterday in singles semi-finals matches VINCIGUERRA Andreas (SWE) defeated UEBEL Lars (GER) 6:4, 2:6, 7:6, while KARANUSIC Roko (CRO)lost from BECK Andreas (GER) 3:6, 7:6, 6:7.
Bozoljac-Troicki won doubles title
In the final match of doubles Sarajevo Tennis Tournament, Ilia BOZOLJAC and Victor TROICKI (SCG) defeated Alexander PEYA (AUT) / Lars UEBEL (GER) 6:3, 6:4.
Semifinals singles and final doubles matches start today
Play is scheduled to start at 15:00 hours.

The Wimbledon’s Champion (2001) arrived in Sarajevo
The special tournament guest Goran Ivanisevic visited tournament yesterday. “I would like to play a humanitarian match for the kids of Sarajevo” said Wimbledon’s Champion.
Dieter KINDELMANN (GER) victorious over Marina CILIC (CRO)
In an excellent match KINDELMANN managed to defeat CILIC 4:6, 7:6, 6:3 and passed the second round of the tournament. Tomorrow he is playing against Andreas VINCIGUERRA (SWE).

VINCIGUERRA was born 19 February 1981 in Malmo, Sweden. Began playing tennis at age six. The best results in his career he made in 2001 when he finished in Top 35.

French team Carraz/Dupuis gave up the match against BOZOLJAC/TROICKI (SCG).
Kids Day
Due to the bad weather conditions, the Kids Day will take place tomorrow, Friday 17.03.2006 at 13:00 in Olympic Hall Zetra. Kids will have a unique opportunity to meet this year's tournament tennis players and to enjoy playing with them. All kids are more than welcome!

Interesting matches are expected in doubles today. Duo from Serbia and Montenegro BOZOLJAC/TROCKI will play against French team CARRAZ/DUPUIS, while Czech duo MERTL/VACEK plays against German pair BECK/RIESCHICK. The doubles matches are expected to start at14:30 today.

Yesterday BOZOLJAC Ilija (SCG) gave up the match against KARANUSIC Roko (CRO) in 3rd set.
Second day of competition
Second day of competition was more than exciting. The winner of the Sarajevo Open 2004, Gilles ELSENEER (BEL) lost against Dominik MEFFERT (GER). Marin CILIC (CRO) played a great match against the first seed Alexander WASKE (GER) and won 6:3, 7:6. Cilic is playing again on Thursday.
Cilic/Setkic lost against French team
After good game Bosnian-Croat team Cilic/Setkic lost against French superior team Carras/Dupuis 2:0 in sets.

Matches are scheduled to start at noon tomorrow.
Main draw started
Matches of the first round of main draw were played today. All favourites are passed in the second round. The first round of doubles was played today as well. Tomorrow will be played matches of the first round, too.
Second (day of qualification)
Today was played second round of qualification. In last round of qualification passed Herm-Zahlava Jakub (GER), Vinciguerra Andreas (SWE),Zemlja Grega(SLO), Peya Alexander(AUT), Peranec Gordan(CRO), Zelenay Igor(SWK), Reischick Sebastian (GER) and Troicki Viktor(SCG).Tomorrow matches start at 10:30.

Main draw starts tomorrow. First matches of main draw will be played at 13:00 hours.
BiH players in qualification match
Seven BIH players played in the first qualification matches today. None of them succeed to pass to the first round of the tournament.
